Product Description
This SATA female PCB connector uses a 1.27 mm pitch 7-pin layout to
carry high-speed differential signal transmission between storage
devices and host systems. The right-angle SMT design keeps the
profile low while allowing compact routing on the PCB, ideal for
densely populated server and industrial controller boards.
Copper-alloy contacts with gold plating ensure stable contact
resistance and long-term reliability under repeated mating,
vibration, and temperature cycling. The high-temperature,
flame-retardant housing supports standard lead-free solder reflow
and offers excellent mechanical strength around the terminal area.
This connector can be supplied as a standalone PCB component or as
part of a customized cable and harness solution, matching different
SATA cable styles, board layouts, and mechanical envelopes used in
server, storage, automotive, and embedded electronics.

Applications
Data and power connection for HDDs, SSDs, and hybrid storage
devices on server or industrial motherboards
Embedded systems, mini-PCs, DVRs, and NVRs requiring compact SATA
signal connectors
Industrial controllers and automation equipment using SATA-based
storage modules
Custom cable assemblies linking daughter boards, backplanes, or
removable storage bays
Precautions
Do not exceed the rated current and voltage per contact; consider
PCB trace width and ambient temperature when designing the power
path.
Ensure correct alignment with the mating SATA plug; mis-mating or
side loading may damage the terminals or housing.
Follow recommended reflow soldering profiles for high-temperature
thermoplastic to avoid warping or contact displacement.
Avoid excessive mechanical stress on the connector after soldering;
support the cable or device to reduce strain on solder joints.
Store connectors in a dry, dust-free environment, and keep them in
original packaging until assembly to prevent contamination of the
gold contact area.
