Product Description
This red flat SATA 7Pin data cable connector is designed for reliable internal signal transmission between hard drives, solid-state drives and host controllers. The
low-profile 90-degree right-angle SATA plug with metal latch
provides a secure connection to the device while easing routing in
narrow bays and along chassis walls. The opposite straight plug
interfaces directly with motherboard, HBA card or backplane terminals, making it suitable for a wide range of electronic storage systems.
Flat 24–26AWG copper wire cable construction with shielded differential pairs helps maintain
controlled impedance and reduces crosstalk, ensuring stable 1.5 / 3
/ 6 Gb/s SATA performance in desktop PCs, workstations and server environments. The robust molded housings and strain-relief design
improve mechanical reliability under vibration and frequent
plugging operations. OEM/ODM customization is available for cable length, connector orientation, color and
integration with power harnesses or PCB headers.

Applications
Internal SATA connection between motherboard or RAID controller and
2.5"/3.5" HDD / SSD
Space-constrained cabling in 1U / 2U rack-mount servers, NAS and JBOD enclosures
DVR / NVR and industrial data-logging equipment using Serial ATA
interfaces
Embedded systems and compact PCs where a right-angle SATA connector reduces stress on drive sockets
Custom test fixtures and electronic modules requiring high-speed
SATA signal links with flat, easy-to-route cables
Precautions
Ensure both mating receptacles are standard SATA 7Pin interfaces;
do not force the connector if alignment is incorrect to avoid bending pins.
Maintain an adequate bending radius, especially near the
right-angle end, to preserve impedance and high-speed performance.
Route the cable away from sharp metal edges and high-current power conductors to minimize insulation wear and electromagnetic
interference.
Use cable ties or clips in high-vibration applications so that
mechanical load is not transferred directly to the SATA terminals or PCB sockets.
Variants with dual right-angle plugs, multiple parallel cables, or
rugged jackets for industrial and automotive environments can be
supplied for project and batch orders.
