Product Description
This 3-in-1 braided SATA 7Pin connector cable assembly is designed for compact, organized signal transmission in high-density storage systems. A single host-side right-angle
SATA plug fans out inside the braided harness into three separate
right-angle SATA connectors, each with a metal latch and pull tab for easy release in crowded server bays.
Each internal wire cable uses impedance-controlled copper twinax pairs with individual
shielding to minimize crosstalk and insertion loss, ensuring stable
6 Gb/s SATA data rates to every drive. The common PET braided
sleeve keeps the three lines neatly bundled, improving airflow and
abrasion resistance while simplifying routing along chassis walls
and PCB backplanes. The harness can be tailored for OEM customization, including different branch lengths, labeling for P1/P2/P3, or
hybrid assemblies combining SATA data with separate power terminals.

Applications
Connecting three 2.5"/3.5" HDD or SSD from a single SATA host
position in desktop towers, workstations and rack-mount servers
High-density NAS, JBOD and storage drawers where multiple drives
are mounted close together and tidy cabling is critical
DVR / NVR and industrial data recorders that require several SATA
data links within a compact electronic enclosure
Custom PCB backplanes and storage modules using SATA headers for multi-drive
connectivity in telecom and edge-computing equipment
System integrators needing pre-bundled SATA connector harnesses to reduce assembly time and wiring errors in batch
production
Precautions
SATA is a point-to-point interface; ensure each branch is connected
to an independent SATA port or backplane position as defined in the
system design, not simply paralleled on one host port.
Confirm correct keying and orientation before inserting the connectors; forcing them may bend the contact pins or damage device sockets.
Maintain the recommended bend radius of the braided harness and
avoid tight kinks near the over-molded ends to preserve controlled
impedance and long-term reliability of high-speed transmission.
Route the cable away from sharp metal edges and high-current power lines to minimize mechanical wear and electromagnetic
interference.
For large projects, harnesses with different branch counts,
alternate pitch or automotive-grade jackets can be supplied to
match specific cabinet layouts and environmental requirements.
