Product Description
This multi-drop SATA power and data connector harness is designed to fan out one high-density PCB connector to multiple 2.5" / 3.5" drives. A single multi-pin input at the
controller or backplane side carries both signal and power, which are then distributed through five flat Serial ATA cables with integrated 22Pin device connectors.
The low-profile red ribbon wire cable keeps routing neat in crowded racks, while colour-coded 12 V / 5 V
/ ground power lines ensure safe electrical distribution to each
drive. Oxygen-free copper conductors and precision-formed terminals maintain stable data transmission up to 6 Gb/s and reliable power delivery for enterprise storage,
industrial recorders and compact server systems. OEM customization is available for pin-out, cable length, number of ports, and
connector pitch to match different controller boards or metal work.

Applications
Connecting a storage controller or RAID card to five SATA HDD / SSD
in a hot-swap cage
Power and data harness for NAS, rack-mount server and JBOD
enclosures
Disk array wiring in DVR / NVR and industrial logging equipment
Custom electronic cabinets where multiple drives share one
board-mounted power connector
Retrofit of existing backplanes that need organized multi-drop SATA
cabling
Precautions
Confirm the pin assignment of the 20–24Pin board connector and each SATA device connector before installation; incorrect mapping of power and ground pins may damage drives or the PCB.
Ensure the total load of all drives does not exceed the rated
current of the harness and upstream power rail; select higher AWG
for high-power configurations if required.
Avoid sharp bends and excessive twisting near molded housings to
protect the internal conductors and maintain long-term electrical
performance.
Route the assembly away from hot components and sharp metal edges,
and secure it with clamps or cable ties to reduce strain on the terminals.
Variants with shielded pairs, different SATA quantities, or special
automotive / industrial grade jackets can be produced for batch and
project orders.
