Product Description
This splitter harness converts a single SATA 15Pin power source
into two legacy outputs through a compact connector assembly: one 4Pin Molex peripheral and one 4Pin floppy power
plug. Using 18AWG copper wire cable and robust crimp terminals, it delivers stable 12 V and 5 V power transmission to hard drives, fans, pumps, LED lighting or small electronic modules without adding an extra PSU rail.
Color-coded conductors (yellow, red, black) simplify installation
and help prevent wiring mistakes. The low-profile SATA plug fits
standard PSU or backplane sockets, while the peripheral and floppy connectors support a wide range of existing devices in desktops,
workstations, and compact server chassis. Customization of wire gauge, length, pitch-compatible
housings or additional branches is available for OEM projects,
including industrial control and light automotive electronics where quick adaptation from SATA rails is required.

Applications
Adding Molex and floppy power outputs from a SATA-only power supply
Powering HDD / SSD, optical drives, fans, pumps and LED strips in
PC cases
Supplying auxiliary power to PCB-mounted driver boards or small
controllers in servers and network equipment
Retrofit and repair of systems that mix SATA power rails with older
peripheral connectors
Custom test jigs and benches needing convenient 5 V / 12 V taps
from one SATA line
Precautions
Confirm total load current so that the SATA power rail and each terminal are not overloaded when multiple devices are connected.
Check polarity and pin assignment before use; incorrect mating of
male / female connectors can damage the connected equipment.
Route the harness away from sharp edges, high-temperature
components and moving fan blades to protect the insulation and wires.
Do not use this assembly for high-speed data signal connections; it is intended for low-voltage power connector applications only.
For projects requiring different lengths, additional outputs or
special PCB pitch interfaces, customized splitter cable assemblies
can be provided.
